The Break In – Short Film

A comedy/action short film about a burglary/break-in at a suburban house. This film is not a splatter or a slasher, but a smacker. Night comes to Lisbon and our grown up character `Jim` is going to bed with his teddy bear. A teddy bear which might have more impact on his life and his acts then he is aware of. Meanwhile out on the quite street, a suspicious character `Frank`, is approaching the house where he is planning to steal a valuable painting from. Soon Jim wakes up from the noise that could be from someone breaking in to his house. As he carefully gets up from bed to investigate what he heard, he is preparing himself to confront a potential burglar in his house. And that with the intention of turning any trespasser to a victim. The teddy bear seems to support this idea and maybe it was even his idea in the first place. When the adrenaline rushes `Jim` is not taking any shit. While Frank wishes he had a better plan.

My work on this project was 2nd Unit Cinematographer/Camera Operator to capture the The Break In short film written and directed by Rasmus Andersson .  It was filmed on Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
